Requirements:

  1. Licensed in the province of Manitoba.
  2. Certified to administer local anesthesia.
  3. Dental hygiene experiences an asset but not required, new grads welcome to apply.  
  4. Valid CPR certificate.

Responsibilities:

  1. Record and maintain patient’s medical, dental and periodontal records.
  2. Supragingival and subgingival scaling and root planing.
  3. Administration of local anesthetic as required for scaling and root planing.
  4. Provide oral hygiene instruction.
  5. Sharpening of hygiene instruments.
  6. Application of desensitizing agents, fluoride and topical anesthetic. 
  7. Setup and clean up hygiene operatory.
